THE MOTHER
Naomi Aeon, PhD, is a writer, speaker, mentor, and teacher. She is also the creator and founder of THE AEON UNDERGROUND, an online learning hub that provides pathways beyond divisiveness and into Oneness. Naomi’s curriculum of self-mastery teachings are designed to help develop “the content of our character” and to enable us to cultivate a healthier relationship with our identity categories, our own and that of others.
Prior to shifting to full-time transformational teacher and intuitive consultant, Naomi was a professor of Cultural Theory, who taught for twelve years at Harvard and Yale respectively. She earned her PhD in a field called the “History of Consciousness,” with scholar/activist Angela Davis as her dissertation advisor.
Back in 2012, Naomi left academia to teach workshops and masterclasses to a broader audience on topics ranging from “Know Who You Are,” to “Live Your Best Life,” to “Achieve Wellness,” to “Hone Your Inner Knowing,” to "Relate Masterfully Across Difference," to “Embrace Oneness.”
As a writer, Naomi has written for various publications, from Huffpost, to MindBodyGreen, to Transitions Magazine, to The Black Scholar. She has completed three book manuscripts, soon to enter the publishing pipeline. The first is about the oft overlooked similarities between cults and the larger culture. The second explores race as a path of self-realization. And the third is about Naomi’s midlife journey from breakdown to breakthrough, the lessons learned through loss, and the ironic set of riches bestowed upon us via "losing at life.”
Naomi was named “A Woman to Watch in Wellness” by wellness behemoth MindBodyGreen in partnership with popular fitness brand Athleta. To Naomi, it’s precisely “optimal well-being” for the greatest possible number of people the planet over, that is the most coveted prize we should be aspiring to claim.
New York City-based, Naomi is a passionate mom of two amazing daughters and an incredible son. An adventurer at heart, one of her favorite pastimes is traveling the world. She’s even more so an intrepid explorer of world within the self. She loves a good self-discovery journey, which forever yields up more and more layers to be excavated.

With the mantra “imagination is the greatest tool of humanity,” Anatola Araba is an artist, futurist, and award-winning filmmaker who pushes the boundaries of storytelling by fusing art and technology.
As the founder of the innovation studio Reimagine Story Lab, Anatola is pioneering a new era of world-class immersive experiences by creative directing cutting edge projects across the new media landscape.
Raised in the heart of New York City, Anatola graduated from the prestigious New York University, Tisch School of the Arts with a Masters in Art and Technology from California Institute of the Arts. She is on a mission to inform, inspire, and reimagine the world as it could be.
Her renowned film, "Afro Algorithms," is a visionary 3D animated short about artificial intelligence and bias. The project garnered numerous awards across the globe and has made history as the first science fiction short film to be sent to space as part of NASA’s first Moon mission since 1972.
Her films and interdisciplinary artworks have exhibited at world renowned institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the Lincoln Center, Art Basel, the Museum of Moving Images, and more.
As an international speaker and advisor to the United Nations on digital transformation, she brings global perspectives and creative leadership to every project. She has spoken four times at the United Nations, Afrotech, SXSW, as well as leading Universities across the country.
Recently named Forbes 30 Under 30 in Art, she has partnered with the likes of Snapchat, Google, and Mozilla to tell innovative stories. Her writing has been published in ELLE and Harper’s Bazaar. Her work has been featured in Vogue and the Wall Street Journal.
Anatola believes that solutions to humanity's greatest challenges, from climate change to growing inequality, can be sparked through the transformative power of the imagination.
